In the Matter of the Honorable Bryan R. Hedges, 64

The decision of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, which sustained one charge of judicial misconduct against petitioner, a family court judge, and determined that he should be removed from office, is affirmed, where: 1) petitioner engaged in misconduct warranting removal from office by committing an act of moral turpitude involving a child; 2) petitioner's admissions, by themselves, are sufficient to warrant the finding of judicial misconduct; and 3) the admitted conduct undermined the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary and therefore rendered petitioner unfit for judicial office.
