The consecutive nature of a new sentence imposed upon a second felony offender to a prior undischarged sentence is a collateral rather than direct consequence of a conviction in determining the adequacy of a plea allocution, and therefore the trial judge's failure to raise the issue does not undermine the validity of defendant's plea.
