Court of Appeals of New York
People v. Townsley, 209
The Appellate Division's denial of defendant's request for coram nobis relief, claiming ineffective assistance of appellate counsel, is affirmed where defendant's claim that his appellate counsel was at fault for failing to argue, on appeal, that the conduct of the prosecutor at trial subjected his trial lawyers to ethical conflicts and thereby deprived him of the effective assistance of trial counsel, is without merit.
