People v. Walker, 197

Defendant's conviction for criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree is affirmed where: 1) following defendant's arrest for driving with a revoked license, the officer was not constitutionally required to ask whether the defendant's passenger was licensed and authorized to drive it before deciding to impound the car; and 2) the officer's search of the car after he decided to impound it was a valid inventory search.
