Court of Appeals of New York
Oddo Asset Mgmt. v. Barclays Bank PLC., 126
In a suit against Barclays Bank PLC and others, alleging aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference with contract that resulted in the collapse of two investment vehicles known as SIV-Lites, the decision of the Appellate Division upholding the dismissal of the complaint is affirmed, as the collateral managers appointed to oversee the assets of the SIV-Lites did not owe a fiduciary duty to plaintiff and plaintiff failed to state a cognizable claim for tortious interference with contract.
