In an appeal from an order of the Appellate Court reversing the trial court's judgment in favor of plaintiff, a domestic violence victim, judgment is affirmed where the defendant had no special relationship with the plaintiff such that its failure to provide her with police protection made it liable for injuries suffered when she was shot by her estranged boyfriend.
