Court of Appeals of New York

People v. Abrams, 107

Conviction and sentencing of defendant on weapon possession, reckless endangerment, menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, are affirmed where grant of immunity to a material witness by a special prosecutor based on the consent of a conflicted district attorney was not erroneous since a prosecutor possesses broad discretion to decide when to immunize a witness.
