In a products liability action alleging defective design of a chemical compound commonly known as lye used for clearing drains, summary judgment in favor of the defendant is reversed because defendant failed to demonstrate that its product is reasonably safe for its intended use; that is, the utility of the product outweighs its inherent danger.
