Court of Appeals of New York
People v. Wells, 59
Conviction of first and second degree murder and attempted second degree murder, among other crimes, and sentence of 50 years to life is affirmed as a single charge of attempted intentional murder is not duplicitous when the evidence adduced at trial demonstrates that the defendant fired a gun in the direction of more than one individual but does not definitively establish the identity of the intended victim.
