Supreme Court of Illinois
Iseberg v. Gross, 103332
In an action arising from a shooting incident, dismissal of count I of plaintiff's complaint, which alleges defendants were negligent because they failed to warn plaintiff that a former mutual business partner had made threats against plaintiff's life, is affirmed where no special relationship existed between plaintiff and defendants so as to overcome the no-affirmative-duty rule.
