Supreme Court of Illinois

People v. Vincent, 101477

Conviction and sentence for attempted murder, armed violence, aggravated battery with a firearm, and aggravated battery are affirmed where the lack of factual questions provided an appropriate setting for the circuit court to deny the requested relief sua sponte without notifying him of the impending ruling and without allowing him to address the court prior to that ruling.
