DeSmet v. County of Rock Island, 100261
In a suit for negligence arising from an auto accident death where the possibility of an accident was reported by a passing motorist but the scene was not investigated until three days later, dismissal of the complaint is affirmed where defendant county is entitled to statutory immunity under the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act.
