Supreme Court of Illinois
Governmental Interinsurance Exch. v. Judge, 100668
In a legal malpractice action arising from an auto accident, judgement in favor of defendant-attorneys is affirmed where the County could not have succeeded on its immunity claim, and thus, the attorneys' failure to perfect the appeal would have made no difference in the ultimate result for the County and its insurer.
