Supreme Court of Illinois
Sullivan v. Eichmann, 96931
In an action for medical malpractice, summary judgement for the defense is reversed where: 1) the circuit court denied plaintiff's request to substitute counsel immediately preceding arguments on defendant's motion for summary judgment; and 2) it could not be said that the plaintiff was not prejudiced by not being allowed to have her new attorney, who had the name of a new expert witness, appear.
