Supreme Court of Illinois
Sullivan v. Edward Hosp., 95409
Directed verdict for a hospital in a medical malpractice case is affirmed where the trial court correctly: 1) struck certain testimony by a doctor as a discovery violation; 2) ruled that a doctor who testified as an expert was not competent to give testimony as to the standard of care for nurses; and 3) found that plaintiff offered no other testimony on the nursing standard of care.
