Supreme Court of Illinois

People v. Jones, 90282

In a retrial of a conviction for murder which was granted based on the inadmissibility of a statement made during interviews with detectives as being plea-related, conviction is affirmed over claims of inadmissibility of two other similarly made statements where failure to take an appeal as to two statements meant that their admissibility could not be contested again on retrial.
