Supreme Court of Illinois
Chatham Foot Specialist, P.C. v. Health Care Service Corp., 99067
In an action to recover unpaid fees for services rendered pursuant to an agreement between plaintiff medical office and defendant medical insurance provider, summary judgement reversed where the professional medical corporation did not have a certificate of registration from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, as required by that law, but the lack of this kind of registration is not a reason to void an otherwise valid contract.
