Supreme Court of Illinois

Arthur v. Catour, 97920, 97946cons.

In a personal injury action, partial summary judgment limiting the plaintiff's damage claim to the reduced amount paid for medical services rather than the higher amounts originally billed is reversed where plaintiff may present to the jury the amount that her health-care providers initially billed for services rendered, but cannot make a prima facie case of reasonableness based on the bill alone.
