Supreme Court of Illinois
In re Marriage of Peters-Farrell, 97898
In an action for dissolution of marriage, appeal from wife's motion to quash subpoenas for her prescription records is moot, dismissed, and vacated as to the appellate court judgment that the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act protects prescription records where: 1) a judgment of marriage dissolution has been entered in the circuit court which resolves all the issues between the parties: and 2) the supreme court declines to invoke the public interest exception to the mootness doctrine because there are no conflicting precedents which require authoritative resolution.
