Supreme Court of Illinois
People v. Normand, 97984
In an action for possession of child pornography, conviction is affirmed over claims that the State had not done enough to prove that the pictures in question were of real children where: 1) a trier of fact is capable of determining whether real children were used in pornographic images simply by viewing the images; and 2) any trier of fact could conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that actual children were depicted in this particular case.
