Supreme Court of Illinois
People v. Cosenza, 98074
In a matter of procedural issue concerning the suspension of the driving privileges of those who drive while intoxicated, a petition to have summary suspension rescinded based on the fact that the hearing had extended more than 30 days beyond the filing date of the petition is denied where the statutory requirement that the hearing begin in 30 days does not mean that it must end within that time frame.
