Supreme Court of Illinois
Int'l Union of Operating Eng'rs Local 148 v. Illinois Dep't of Employment Sec., 97695
In an action for administrative review of a decision to deny unemployment benefits, the decision is affirmed where members of Engineers' Union had a direct interest in the outcome of the labor dispute between Central Illinois Public Service Company and Local 702 and, consequently, were ineligible for unemployment compensation benefits during the period of time when, although eligible to return to work, they respected the picket lines established by the members of Local 702 and stayed off the job.
