City of Champaign v. Torres, 97926

In an action for resisting or obstructing the performance by a police officer of any authorized act within the peace officer's official capacity arising from the investigation of a noise complaint, judgement is affirmed where the defendant did not live in the apartment and was a mere party guest, therefore he had no reasonable expectation of privacy in the apartment that would be subject to fourth amendment protection.
