People v. Sandoval, 2-06-0996, 2-06-1053

In a case where circuit court dismissed all charges pending in two cases against a defendant on speedy trial grounds, judgment is affirmed in part, vacated in part, and remanded in part where: 1) defendant's speedy trial demand was sufficient to invoke his rights to a speedy trial; but 2) it was effective only as to the charges named in his demand and the trial court erred in dismissing other charges against him.
