In a negligence action arising from a surgical incident, grant of plaintiff's motion for a new trial is reversed and remanded where: 1) jury verdicts on claims of negligence and informed consent were not against the manifested weight of the evidence; 2) the trial court did not err during its rulings on jury instructions, closing arguments, plaintiff's request to reopen the case, plaintiff's motion for a directed verdict, and an expert witness' undisclosed opinions.
