In the matter of an ordinance annexing property in accordance with section 7--1--8 of the Illinois Municipal Code, dismissal of plaintiff's complaint for mandamus to order defendant-City clerk to present the referendum petition so that a referendum could be held is affirmed where section 7--1--6's referendum requirement does not apply to annexations under section 7--1--8.
