Appellate Court of Illinois
In re Rogelio S., 1061603
An adjudication of delinquency and sentence based upon a finding that 12-year-old respondent had committed the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse is affirmed where: 1) constitutional challenges relating to the Sex Offender Registration Act and the Sex Offender Community Notification Law were mooted by recent legislative amendments; and 2) respondent failed to establish that requiring him to submit buccal swab saliva specimens for genetic analysis pursuant to section 5-4-3 of the Unified Code of Corrections violates the constitution as applied to him.
