Appellate Court of Illinois

Nickon v. City of Princeton, 3060952

In a negligence action based on injuries plaintiff sustained when he tripped and fell on a sidewalk resulting in a verdict in favor of plaintiff, denial of defendant's post-trial motions for judgment NOV on the issue of an open and obvious defect on the sidewalk and set-off or reduction of the verdict to reflect the amount actually paid by Medicare is affirmed where the trial court properly applied it to the collateral source issues in this case and there is no reversible error with respect to the other issues raised on appeal.
