Appellate Court of Illinois

Negron v. The City of Chicago, 1050405

In a suit claiming denial of access to the police department's promotional process because of a newly adopted college credit educational requirement, judgement is affirmed as to the January 2000 plaintiffs and reversed as to the October 2001 plaintiffs where the City was unable to demonstrate a prejudice specifically resulting from the plaintiffs' unreasonable delay in filing their claim.
