Appellate Court of Illinois
People v. Price, 1053782
In a conviction for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, conviction and sentence are affirmed over claims that: 1) because defendant was arrested during an overnight stay at his sister's home, he falls within a statutory exception enumerated in the offense; 2) defendant's 30-month probation sentence was excessive and that the trial court improperly assessed three fees and one fine against him; 3) the court failed to provide defendant with a $5-per-day credit for the two days he spent in custody before posting bail. $105 in fines and fees assessed by the trial court are vacated and defendant is to receive a $10 credit for his time spent in custody against any remaining fines.
