An order of the circuit court dismissing plaintiff's common-law retaliatory discharge action is reversed and the matter remanded where the enactment of the Whistleblower Act did not repeal by implication the common-law action for retaliatory discharge then existing in favor of an individual who is discharged from her employment for reporting illegal or improper activity to someone other than a government or law enforcement.
