Allton v. Hintzsche, 3-05-0771

An order directing an insurance company to pay the proceeds of a life insurance policy to the plaintiff instead of decedent's and plaintiff's children in accordance to the marital settlement agreement which required the deceased to change the policy's beneficiary from the plaintiff to the children is reversed and remanded where the language of the marriage settlement agreement is ambiguous and susceptible to two different interpretations.
