Defendant's convictions for two first-degree murders, kidnapping and sexual battery on a person less than twelve years of age, and a sentence of death are affirmed over defendant's challenges to: 1) the trial court's rejection of certain mitigating circumstances; 2) the proportionality of his death sentence; 3) the trial court's admission of photographs depicting the victims' condition after death; 4) the weight given to jury verdict; 5) the trial court's denial of defendant's request for a preparation of a pre-sentencing report during the Spencer hearing; 6) exclusion from a pretrial conference; 7) judicial bias and trial court's denial of motion to disqualify; 8) the trial court's denial of defendant's motion to proceed pro se; and 9) the constitutionality of Florida's sentencing scheme.
