Supreme Court of Florida
Rodgers v. State of Florida, SC071652
In conviction for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, giving alcohol to a minor, and abusing a human corpse, death sentence is affirmed over claims of error that: 1) the court erred when criminal-appellant was not given a competency hearing after he waived his right to a jury and waived the presentation of significant mitigation; and 2) criminal-appellant's death sentence was disproportionate.
