Supreme Court of Florida
Sutton v. State of Florida, SC06-1000
In proceedings arising following denial of petitioners' motions to disqualify a trial court judge in their misdemeanor criminal cases based upon the alleged bias of the judge toward the petitioners' attorneys, the Supreme Court of Florida finds that a circuit court's order on a petition for writ of prohibition, in the context at issue, is reviewable by certiorari.
