Defendant's conviction and death sentence for first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery, and grand theft of a motor vehicle is affirmed over claims that: 1) that the trial court erred in denying a motion to suppress his recorded statement; 2) the trial court erred in failing to advise him of his right to self-representation; and 3) that his death sentence was not proportionate.
