GTC, Inc. v. Edgar, SC06-1786
An order relating to a petition by a local telecommunications company to impose a customer surcharge pursuant to Florida Statutes section 364.051(4)(b) for costs incurred following Hurricane Dennis in 2005 is affirmed where the company failed to show that the Florida Public Service Commission's (PSC) construction of section 364.051(4)(b) was clearly unauthorized or erroneous, or that the determinations by the PSC were not based upon competent, substantial evidence.
