Denial of defendant's motion for postconviction relief from a conviction for murder and death sentence is reversed and the matter remanded for a new trial where defendant established that his trial counsel was ineffective for failing to properly challenge a detective's canine-alert evidence, and he was prejudiced by the deficient performance.
