Tanzi v. State of Florida, SC05-457

A conviction and sentence of death for first-degree murder is affirmed over claims of error that the trial court erred in: 1) denying defendant's motion to withdraw his guilty plea; 2) permitting questions regarding lack of remorse; 3) permitting impeachment of defendant's expert witness by a specific and unrelated act of misconduct; 4) admitting defendant's confession to sexual battery; 5) assessing the murder in the course of a felony aggravator twice; and 6) improperly considering and weighing mitigation evidence.
