Florida Bar v. St. Louis, SC04-49
In attorney disciplinary proceedings involving allegations of misconduct arising from attorneys' entering into a secret "engagement agreement" with the DuPont Corporation while representing clients in Benlate cases against DuPont, a report recommending that respondent-attorney be found guilty of professional misconduct and recommending several sanctions is disapproved to the extent it recommended suspension, and instead respondent is disbarred and is ordered to disgorge over $2 million, plus interest.
