Florida Bar v. Broome, SC03-84
In proceedings arising from Florida Bar investigations into the conduct of an attorney, a referee's findings of fact and recommendations as to guilt are approved but a recommendation as to sanction is disapproved, and a one year suspension is imposed on the attorney where the recommendation of a public reprimand was without support in the case law and the Florida Standards for Imposing Lawyer Sanctions.
