An order denying a motion for postconviction relief is affirmed and a petition for a writ of habeas corpus is denied in a death penalty case over claims of error regarding: 1) ineffective assistance of counsel, 2) the absence of an evidentiary hearing on Brady/Giglio claims; 3) mental competence; 4) the adequacy of a mental health evaluation; 5) racial discrimination; 6) prior violent felony aggravator; 7) Apprendi/Ring claims; and 8) mental retardation.
