An order of the circuit court denying a motion for postconviction relief and a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in a capital murder case are affirmed and denied, respectively, over claims of error regarding: 1) ineffective assistance of counsel; 2) jury instructions; 3) innocence of the death penalty; 4) a Ring v. Arizona, 536 U.S. 584 (2002), claim; and 5) the constitutionality of the death penalty.
