COOK v. CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, SC00-1745, SC00-1908

Because Article VI, section 4(a) of the Florida Constitution provides the only disqualifications applicable to the county offices established by article VIII, section 1(d), a charter county's imposition of a "term limit" provision upon county officer positions authorized by Article VIII, section 1(d) is unconstitutional attempt to impose an additional disqualification from election to office.
