WHITE v. STEAK AND ALE OF FLORIDA, INC., SC01-96
Under the offer of judgment statute, section 768.79, Florida Statutes (1993), the "judgment obtained" for the purpose of determining whether the party making the offer is entitled to attorneys- fees includes the net judgment for damages and any attorneys' fees and taxable costs that could have been included in a final judgment if such final judgment was entered on the date of the offer.
