Imhotep-Nguzo Saba Charter Sch. v. Dep't of Educ., 4D05-4634
Denial of applications for new charter schools are affirmed where: 1) a school board policy which looked to the academic and financial success of the new schools- predecessor was valid; and 2) substantial evidence supported a conclusion that the existing charter school of the applicant was fiscally and academically non-compliant, and that this finding was statutory good cause for denial of the applications.
