A conviction and sentence for robbery with a firearm and burglary of a dwelling with an assault or battery while wearing a mask is reversed where the trial court abused its discretion in denying his motion for continuance for purposes of investigating the authenticity of an incriminating letter, first shown to the defense on the eve of trial.
