District Court of Appeal of Florida
Ratigan v. Stone, 3d03-3102
Denial of former husband's motion for rehearing in a dissolution case is affirmed in part where the court correctly determined that there was insufficient information to determine whether to award attorney's fees to the husband and correctly awarded attorney's fees to the wife as a sanction for the husband's litigation misconduct. The decision is reversed in part where there was no statutory authority to award attorney's fees to the former wife's fiance as sanctions in a separately-filed domestic violence case.
