District Court of Appeal of Florida

Harris v. State of Florida, 4D05-2086

A conviction on drug-related charges is reversed for a new trial pursuant to a claim that the trial court erred in denying a motion for mistrial, which was grounded on a claim that the state had not informed defendant about any drug purchases made the day of a search, that this was a discovery violation, and that a hearing was required by Richardson v. State, 246 So. 2d 771 (Fla. 1971).
