District Court of Appeal of Florida
Gables Club Marina v. The Gables Condo. & Club Ass'n, Inc., 3d06-1103
Order vacating a default judgment in plaintiff's favor in a dispute involving ownership rights in a marina is affirmed where the trial court did not commit a gross abuse of discretion in vacating the judgment since a reasonable misunderstanding between attorneys regarding settlement negotiations constitutes excusable neglect sufficient to vacate a default judgment.
